Rep. Hutchings called the meeting to order at 9:07 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Bowman moved to approve the minutes of the February 16, 2004 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hendrickson and Rep. Newbold absent for the vote.


H.C.R. 10    Resolution Recognizing National Conference of State Legislatures Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City (Rep. D. Hogue)

MOTION:    Rep. Pace moved to amend the resolution as follows:

1.    Page 2, Lines 56 through 57 :    

             56          BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be sent to the National
             57      Conference of State Legislatures
  , member states, commonwealths, and territories       .

The motion to amend the resolution passed unanimously with Rep. Hendrickson and Rep. Newbold absent for the vote.

Rep. Hogue introduced H.C.R. 10 as amended and explained it to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Hansen moved to pass H.C.R. 10 as amended out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Newbold absent for the vote.




H.B. 287    Government Records Access and Management Act Revisions (Rep. D. Aagard)


MOTION:    Rep. Aagard moved to amend the bill as follows:

1.    Page 3, Lines 73 through 74 :    

             73          (b) Upon request, a governmental entity
[[   [   ]] shall      [[   ]   ]]      [[   may   ]] provide [a] an existing record in a

             74      particular format if:

             311          (m)
  (i) except as provided in Subsection (1)(m)(ii),       a record concerning any individual that would disclose both:

The motion to amend the bill passed unanimously with Rep. Ferrin absent for the vote.
