Rep. Ferrin called the meeting to order at 5:04 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Bowman moved to approve the minutes of the February 20, 2004 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Bush, Rep. Newbold, and Rep. Hutchings absent for the vote.
H.B. 301 Voter Registration Amendments (Rep. M. Thompson)
Rep. Thompson introduced H.B. 301 and explained it to the committee.

MOTION: Rep. Hutchings moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Hendrickson, Rep. McGee, and Rep. Pace voting in opposition to the motion. Rep. Bush was absent for the vote.
H.B. 363 Government Efficiency and Effectiveness Review Committee (Rep. P. Wallace)
Rep. Wallace introduced H.B. 363 and explained it to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Hutchings moved to amend the bill as follows:
1. Page 3, Line 75 :
75 the Occupational and Professional Licensure Review Committee created by Section 36-23-102 .
(3) The committee shall report by November 1st annually to the Government
Operations Interim Committee.
The motion to amend the bill passed unanimously.

H.B. 287 Government Records Access and Management Act Revisions (Rep. D. Aagard)
MOTION: Rep. Aagard moved to return H.B. 287 to the Rules Committee and refer it for interim study. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hutchings absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Hendrickson moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hutchings absent for the vote. The meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
