MOTION: Rep. Buffmire moved to approve the minutes of the January 23, 2004 meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
H.B. 198 Child Welfare Court Reports (Rep. M. Thompson
MOTION: Rep. Buffmire moved to delete H.B. 198 in title and body and replace it with 2nd Substitute H.B. 198. The motion passed unanimously.
Rep. Thompson introduced 2nd Sub. H.B. 198 and explained it to the committee.

1. Page 4, Lines 109 through 110 :
109 appointed by a court to represent the interests of the children.
The access granted to
the Office of the Guardian Ad Litem is limited to information entered into the
system on or after July 1, 2004, except the Office may have access to all child abuse
and neglect referrals.
