MOTION:    Rep. Noel moved to amend HB 55 as follows:

       If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this bill takes effect upon approval by the governor, or the day following the constitutional time limit of Utah Constitution Article VII, Section 8, without the governor's signature, or in the case of a veto, the date of veto override.

    The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Biskupski, Rep. Cox, and Rep. Urquhart absent for the vote.

Rep. Noel introduced the bill with the assistance of Mr. Kevin Carter, School and Institutional Trust Land Administration.

MOTION:     Rep. Dayton moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed         unanimously with Rep. Biskupski and Rep. Cox absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Johnson moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar. The motion         passed unanimously with Rep. Biskupski absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Styler moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.         Chair Buttars adjourned the meeting at 2:30 p.m.
