Vice-Chair Peterson called the meeting to order at 8:10 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Buttars moved to adopt the committee meeting minutes of February 9, 2004. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Cox, Rep. Donnelson, Rep. Johnson, Rep. Styler, Rep. Ure, and Rep. Urquhart absent for the vote.

S.B. 46    Sunset Date Extension of Division of Oil, Gas and Mining (Sen. M. Dmitrich)

Sen. Dmitrich introduced the bill with the assistance of Lowell Braxton, Division of Oil, Gas, and Mining. Sen. Dmitrich declared a conflict of interest.

MOTION:    Rep. Dayton moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Cox, Rep. Donnelson, Rep. Johnson, Rep. Styler, Rep. Ure, and Rep. Urquhart absent for the vote.
