Chair Buttars called the meeting to order at 4:55 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Dayton moved to approve the committee meeting minutes from February 19, 2004. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Biskupski and Rep. Donnelson absent for the vote.

S.B. 146    Olympic Law Revisions and Cleanup (Sen. B. Evans)

Sen. Evans introduced the bill and responded to questions from the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Dayton moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Biskupski, Rep. Cox, and Rep. Donnelson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Dayton moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed

unanimously with Rep. Biskupski, Rep. Cox, and Rep. Donnelson absent for the vote.

S.B. 187    Water Conservancy Districts Trustees (Sen. H. Stephenson)

Rep. Stephenson introduced the bill and responded to questions from the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Dayton moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Biskupski, Rep. Cox, and Rep. Donnelson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Dayton moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Biskupski and Rep. Donnelson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Johnson moved to table the bill. The motion passed with Rep. Anderson, Rep. Barrus, and Rep. Biskupski voting in opposition.
