Vice-chair Barrus called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m.
Motion: Rep. Murray made a motion to approve the minutes of February 6, 2004. The motion was unanimous with a vote of 8-0-2, with Rep. Duckworth and Hogue absent for the vote.
S.B. 116 County Recorder Amendments (Sen. T. Hatch)
Senator Hatch introduced the bill.
Alan Spriggs, Summit County Recorder, spoke to the bill.
Brent Gardner, Utah Association of Counties, spoke in favor of the bill.
Motion: Rep. Becker moved that the committee report a favorable recommendation on S.B. 116.
The motion passed unanimously with a vote of 10-0-0.
Motion: Rep. Murray moved to adjourn. The vote was unanimous and the meeting adjourned at
9:29 a.m.
