MOTION: Rep. Shurtliff moved to approve the minutes of January 22, 2004. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hughes absent for the vote.
S.C.R. 3 Resolution Supporting Hill Air Force Base (Sen. D. Thomas)
Sen. Thomas introduced the resolution with the assistance of Rep. Adams.
Spoke to the bill: Todd Hauber, Department of Community and Economic Development
MOTION: Rep. Goodfellow moved to pass the resolution out favorably. The motion passed
unanimously.
S.B. 67 Designation of American Indian Heritage Month and an Indigenous People Day (Sen. B. Evans)
Sen. Evans introduced the bill.
Spoke in favor of the bill: Vicki Bourns, Utah Cultural Alliance
MOTION: Rep. Goodfellow moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Rep. Shurtliff moved to adjourn the meeting. The meeting passed unanimously.
