LONG TITLE
General Description:
This bill repeals the presumption of responsibility relating to abuse or neglect of a
minor.
Highlighted Provisions:
This bill:
. amends the Judicial Code by repealing the presumption that a person who has direct
and exclusive care and control of a minor at the time the minor is abused is
responsible for the abuse or neglect.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Repealer.
This bill repeals:
Section 78-3a-305.1, Presumption of responsibility.
