Rep. Ray called the meeting to order at 3:35 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Buxton moved to approve the minutes of the January 24, 2005 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Mascaro absent for the vote.


S.B. 17    Foster Care Citizen Review Board (Sen. D. Eastman) (Rep. S. Mascaro)

Sen. Eastman introduced S.B. 17 and explained it to the committee. He was assisted by Patricia Worthington, Director, Foster Care Citizen Review Boards.

MOTION:    Rep. Litvack moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.


H.B. 33    Assistance for People with Bleeding Disorders (Rep. D. Litvack)

MOTION:    Rep. Litvack moved to amend H.B. 33 as follows:

1.    Page 5, Line 131 :    

             131      program
{   in the same manner as an in-network provider   }        subject to all applicable plan benefits and limitations       ; and


The motion to amend the bill passed unanimously.

Rep. Litvack introduced H.B. 33 as amended and explained it to the committee.

Rep. Hunsaker introduced H.B. 64 and explained it to the committee.

Spoke in favor of the bill:    Shauna O'Neil, Salt Lake County Aging Services

MOTION:    Rep. Mascaro moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Litvack moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
