Representative Hunsaker called the meeting to order at 8:48 a.m.

MOTION:    Representative Daw moved to approve the minutes of January 18, 2005. The         motion passed unanimously with Rep. Becker, Rep. McCartney, and Rep. Ure         absent for the vote.

HB. 174    Child Protection Registry Amendments (Rep. J. Dougall)

Rep. Allen presented the bill, with the assistance of Rep. Dougall, and Francine A. Giani, Director, Division of Consumer Protection, Department of Commerce.

MOTION:    Rep. Ben C. Ferry moved to pass the bill out favorably.

SUBSTITUTE
MOTION:    Rep Daw moved to hold the bill until the afternoon of Tuesday, January 25, 2005,         for the purpose of amending. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Goodfellow moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. The chair         adjourned the meeting at 9:05.
