Representative Allen called the meeting to order at 3:35 p.m.

MOTION:    Representative Daw moved to approve the minutes of January 24, 2005. The         motion passed unanimously.

HB. 174    Child Protection Registry Amendments (Rep. J. Dougall)

Rep. Dougall explained the bill, with the assistance of Francine A. Giani, Director, Division of Consumer Protection, Department of Commerce.

MOTION:    Rep. Daw moved to replace HB. 174, Child Protection Registry Amendments (Rep. J. Dougall), with 1st Substitute HB. 174, Child Protection Registry Amendments (Rep. J. Dougall). The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ure absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Goodfellow moved to pass the substitute bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ure absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Fowlke moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. The chair         adjourned the meeting at 3:46 p.m.
