Representative Hunsaker called the meeting to order at 8:12 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Wiley moved to approve the minutes of February 14, 2005. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Becker, Rep. Tilton, Rep. Ure, and Rep. Allen absent for the vote.

S.B. 127    Tax, Fee, or Charge Amendments (Sen. L. Hillyard)

Sen. Hillyard explained the bill with the assistance of Bruce Johnson, Utah State Tax Commission.

MOTION:    Rep. Daw moved to pass S.B. 127 out favorably as amended. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Tilton, and Rep. Allen absent for the vote.

At the request of Rep. Hughes, Rep. Becker explained the bill.

MOTION:    Rep. Goodfellow moved to pass the bill out favorably as amended. The motion passed with Rep. Fowlke voting in opposition.
