Rep. Mascaro called the meeting to order at 8:04 a.m.

MOTION:     Rep. Cox moved to approve the minutes of the January 21, 2005 meeting. The         motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Goodfellow, and Rep. Morgan absent for         the vote.

S.B. 12    Department of Workforce Services Amendments
(Sen. S. Jenkins)

Sen. Jenkins introduced the bill.

Spoke in favor of the bill:    Mike Sullivan, Division of Workforce Services.

MOTION:    Rep. Cox moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously,         with Rep. Goodfellow and Rep. Morgan absent for the vote.

S.B. 16    Department of Workforce Services - Access to Financial Records

         (Sen. S. Jenkins)

Sen. Jenkins introduced the bill with the assistance of Mike Sullivan, Division of Workforce Services.

Spoke for the bill:    Chris Love, Unemployment Director, Division of Workforce                  Services
            Craig Bunker, Legal Counsel, Division of Workforce Services.


MOTION:    Rep. Morgan moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed              unanimously.    

HB. 11    Economic Development Incentives (Rep. B. Dee)

Rep. Dee explained the bill with the assistance of Stan Lockhart, Utah Technology Commission.

MOTION:    Rep. Wallace moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed              unanimously.

Sen. Allen explained the bill.

MOTION:    Rep. Cox moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Cox moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. Rep. Mascaro         adjourned the meeting at 8:42 a.m.
