Rep. Cox called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Mascaro moved to approve the minutes of the February 15, 2005 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Walker absent for the vote.

H.B. 313    Economic Development Initiative for Higher Education (Rep. K. Holdaway)

MOTION:    Rep. Wallace moved to delete in title and body H.B. 313 and replace it with 1st Substitute H.B. 313. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Walker absent for the vote.

Rep. Holdaway explained the bill.

MOTION:    Rep. Mascaro moved to pass the bill out favorably, with a recommendation that the sponsor meet with the Department of Community and Economic Development to prepare the bill further for the debate on the House floor. The motion passed unanimously.


S.C.R. 6    Resolution Supporting the Golden Rule Project (Sen. F. Fife)

Sen. Fife explained the resolution.

MOTION:    Rep. Goodfellow moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Walker moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

Rep. Cox adjourned the meeting at 9:35 a.m.
