Rep. Mascaro called the meeting to order at 4:33 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Cox moved to approve the minutes of the February 21, 2005 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Morgan and Rep. Walker absent for the vote.

H.B. 318    Community and Economic Development Restructuring (Rep. C. Buttars)

Rep. Buttars explained the bill with the assistance of Chris Roybal, Senior Advisor for Economic Development, Governors Office. (handout)

MOTION:    Rep. Cox moved to amend the bill as follows:

1.    Page 3, Lines 75 through 77 :    

             75      Governor's Office of Economic Development whose positions are designated as

MOTION:    Rep. Morgan moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
