Sen. Peterson called the meeting to order at 3:27 p.m. in place of Committee Chair Waddoups.
1. Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Evans moved to approve the minutes of February 8, 2005.
The motion passed unanimously.
2. S.B. 173 Brownfields Revision (Sen. L. A. Mansell)
Sen. Waddoups introduced the bill in place of Sen. Al Mansell. Shelley Teuscher, Director Government Relations, Utah Industry Environmental Coalition, assisted in the presentation. A handout was distributed.
MOTION: Sen. Waddoups moved to adopt the following amendment to S.B. 173:
1. Page 15, Line 452 :

2. Page 15, Line 456 :

The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Evans moved to pass S.B. 173, Brownfields Revision (Sen. L. A. Mansell), out favorably as amended.

3. H.B. 203 Agricultural Advisory Board (Rep. M. Noel)
Sen. Waddoups introduced the bill in place of Rep. Mike Noel.
Leonard Blackham, Commissioner, Dept. of Agriculture and Food, spoke in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Evans moved to pass H.B. 203, Agricultural Advisory Board (Rep. M. Noel), out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. McCoy moved to adjourn.
The motion passed unanimously.
