Chair Walker called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.
MOTION: Sen. Knudson moved to approve the minutes of February 3, 2005.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. H.B. 17 Motion Picture Incentive Fund (Rep. S. Allen)
Rep. Allen presented the bill and responded to questions from Committee members.
Director Leigh Von Der Esch, Utah Film Commission, clarified the bill and responded to questions from Committee members.
Dale Zabriskie, Zabriskie and Associates, Advertising and Broadcasting Federation, spoke in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Fife moved to pass HB 17 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to adjourn.
Chair Walker adjourned the meeting at 9:30 a.m.
