7 LONG TITLE
8 General Description:
9 This bill modifies the Designation of State Highways Act by designating a portion of a
10 state highway.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 . designates a portion of State Route 39 as the K. Gunn McKay Highway; and
14 . requires the Department of Transportation to designate the highway on future
15 highway maps.

24 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25 Section 1. Section 72-4-210 is enacted to read:
26 72-4-210. K. Gunn McKay Highway.
27 (1) There is established the K. Gunn McKay Highway comprising a section of Route
28 39 beginning in Ogden at the junction with Harrison Boulevard east to the junction with
29 Huntsville First Street.

30 (2) In addition to other official designations, the Department of Transportation shall
31 designate the portions of the highway identified in Subsection (1) as the K. Gunn McKay
32 Highway on future state highway maps.
