             9      LONG TITLE
             10      General Description:
             11          This bill supplements or reduces appropriations previously provided for the use and
             12      operation of state government for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2005 and ending
             13      June 30, 2006.
             14      Highlighted Provisions:
             15          This bill:
             16          .    provides budget increases and decreases for the use and support of certain state
             17      agencies;
             18          .    provides budget increases and decreases for other purposes as described; and
             19          .    provides intent language.
             20      Monies Appropriated in this Bill:
             21          This bill appropriates for fiscal year 2006:
             22          .    $30,179,400 from Intragovernmental Revenue.
             23      Other Special Clauses:
             24          This bill provides an immediate effective date.

             26      ENACTS UNCODIFIED MATERIAL

             28      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             29          Section 1. Appropriation.
             30          In accordance with Section 63-38-3 , the following sums of money are appropriated
             31      from resources not otherwise appropriated, or reduced from amounts previously appropriated,
             32      out of the funds or fund accounts indicated for the use and support of the government of the
             33      state for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2005 and ending June 30, 2006. This is an addition to
             34      or a subtraction from amounts previously appropriated for fiscal year 2006.

             37      Item 1        To Department of Technology Services - Agency Services Division
             38              From Dedicated Credits - Intragovernmental Revenue    $22,530,800

             42      The Legislature intends that the chief information officer ensure that for each full-time
             43      equivalent position filled in the Department of Technology Services, at least one full-time
             44      equivalent position will be eliminated elsewhere in state government.

             46              From Dedicated Credits - Intragovernmental Revenue    $7,648,600

             49      The Legislature intends that the chief information officer ensure that for each full-time
             50      equivalent position filled in the Department of Technology Services, at least one full-time
             51      equivalent position will be eliminated elsewhere in state government.
             52          Section 2. Effective date.
             53          If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this bill takes effect
             54      upon approval by the governor, or the day following the constitutional time limit of Utah
             55      Constitution Article VII, Section 8, without the governor's signature, or in the case of a veto,
             56      the date of veto override.
