Rep. Ray called the meeting to order at 8:09 a.m.
MOTION: Rep. Jones moved to approve the minutes of the January 27, 2006 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Buxton, Rep. Litvack, and Rep. Menlove absent for the vote.
H.B. 130 Adoption Amendments (Rep. A. Hardy)
Rep. Hardy introduced H.B. 130 and explained it to the committee, assisted by Larry Jenkins, Utah Adoption Council.
MOTION: Rep. Jones moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Menlove absent for the vote.
H.B. 137 Medication Aide Certified (Rep. R. Lockhart)
MOTION: Rep. Lockhart moved to amend the bill as follows:
1. Page 15, Lines 442 through 445 :
442 (8) For purposes of this section and Section 58-31b-402 [
443 (a) "licensed" or "license" includes "certified" or "certification" under this chapter[

any terms or conditions applied to the word
"nurse"
in this section or
