Representative Ferrin called the meeting to order at 8:01 a.m.


H.B. 63    Probate Code Amendments Regarding Homicide (Rep. K. Morgan)

Rep. Morgan introduced H.B. 63 and explained it to the committee. She was assisted by Creighton Horton, Attorney General's Office.
    
Spoke in favor of the bill: Justin Olsen, Attorney

MOTION:    Rep. Hardy moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Donnelson, Rep. Lawrence, and Rep. Romero absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Hogue moved to place H.B. 63 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Donnelson, Rep. Lawrence, and Rep. Romero absent for the vote.



H.B. 88    Grand Jury Amendments (Rep. C. Oda)

MOTION:    Rep. Wyatt moved to place H.B. 88 on the list for interim study. The motion passed with Rep. Hendrickson voting in opposition to the motion. Rep. Donnelson, Rep. Lawrence, and Rep. Romero were absent for the vote.


H.B. 208    Aggravated Murder Amendment (Rep. S. Wyatt)

Rep. Wyatt introduced H.B. 208 and explained it to the committee, assisted by Creighton Horton, Attorney General's Office.

MOTION:    Rep. Wyatt moved to amend the bill as follows:

MOTION:    Rep. Hogue moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.


H.B. 227    Underage Tattooing Penalty Amendment (Rep. D. Ure)

H.B. 227 was not considered at this meeting.

MOTION:    Rep. Hendrickson moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
