Rep. Bowman called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m

MOTION:    Rep. Oda moved to approve the minutes of January 25, 2006. The motion passed         unanimously, with Rep. Christensen, Rep. Harper, and Rep. Jones absent for the         vote.

H.B. 129    Public Health Amendments
(Rep. B. Last)

Rep. Last introduced the bill with the assistance of Mr. Doug Springmeyer, Assistant Attorney General.

Spoke to the bill:    Ms. Cathy Dupont, General Counsel    

MOTION:    Rep. Ray moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed, with Rep. Christensen, Rep. Harper, and Rep. Oda voting in opposition.

S.B. 53    Adult Protective Services Amendments (Sen. A. Christensen)

Rep. B. Last, representing Sen. A. Christensen, introduced the bill with the assistance of Mr. Alan Ormsby, Director of Aging and Adult Services.




MOTION:    Rep. Oda moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Morley absent for the vote.

H.B. 104    Commission on Racial and Ethic Fairness (Rep. D. Bourdeaux)


Rep. Bourdeaux introduced the bill, then relinquished the time to Former Chief Justice, Michael Zimmerman, Commission on Racial and Ethnic Task Force.
