Rep. Noel called the meeting to order at 8:10 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Cox moved to approve the minutes of the January 24, 2006 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Johnson, Rep. Walker, Rep. Wheatley and Rep. Wheeler absent for the vote.

S.B. 27    Lake Powell Pipeline Development Act (Sen. T. Hatch)

Sen. Hatch explained the bill, with the assistance fo Ron Thompson, Manager, Washington County Water Conservancy District.

MOTION:    Rep. Dayton moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed         unanimously, with Rep. Johnson, Rep. Walker, Rep. Wheatley, Rep. Wheeler         absent for the vote..

H.B. 296    Governor's Budget - Wage and Benefit Increases to Be Considered for Soil Conservation District (Rep. K. Gibson)

Rep. Gibson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Buttars moved to amend the bill as follows:

1.    Page 1, Line 13 :

MOTION:    Rep. Gowans moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Biskupski and Rep. Dayton absent for the vote.
