Rep. Lawrence called the meeting to order at 8:40 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Hardy moved to pass the minutes of January 30, 2006. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Becker, Rep. Holdaway, Rep. King, Rep. Menlove, and Rep. Shurtliff absent for the vote.

H.B. 292    Use of Eminent Domain (Rep. A. Tilton)

This bill was not considered.

H.B. 319 Density Credit for Land Donated to School District (Rep. D. Cox)

Rep. Cox introduced and explained the bill to the Committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Fisher moved to adopt 1st Substitute H.B. 319. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Becker, Rep. Holdaway, and Rep. King absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Dee moved to amend 1st Substitute H.B. 319 as follows:

1.    Page 2, Lines 50 through 53 :    

             50          (2) A municipality may
{   not withhold approval of   }        approve       a subdivision plat that otherwise

             51      complies with all applicable requirements of this chapter and municipal ordinances because the
             52      plat establishes more residential building lots than allowed under the zoning designation
             53      applicable to the land described in the plat if:

H.B. 113 Auditing of Leases Related to Revenue Bonds (Rep. N. Hansen)

Rep. Hansen introduced and explained the bill to the Committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Shurtliff moved to adopt 1st Substitute H.B. 113. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Holdaway, and Rep. King absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Gibson moved that the Committee table 1st Substitute H.B. 113. The motion passed with Rep. King voting in opposition, with Rep. Becker absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Buxton moved to adjourn the meeting. The vote was unanimous. Rep. Lawrence adjourned the meeting at 9:50 a.m.
