Rep. Lawrence called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Holdaway moved to approve the minutes of February 1, 2006. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Becker, Rep. Buxton, Rep. King, Rep. Menlove, and Rep. Shurtliff absent for the vote.

H.B. 198    Statewide 911 Emergency Communication Amendments (Rep. B. Dee)

Rep. Dee introduced and explained the bill to the Committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Shurtliff moved that the Committee recommend H. B. 198 favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Becker, Rep. Buxton, Rep. Gibson, Rep. King, and Rep. Menlove absent for the vote.

Rep. Lawrence relinquished the chair to Rep. Dee.

Sen. Thomas introduced and explained the bill to the Committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Lawrence moved to amend S.B. 99 as follows:

MOTION:    Rep. Shurtliff moved to adjourn the meeting. The vote was unanimous. Rep. Dee adjourned the meeting at 2:55 p.m.
