MOTION: Rep. Hunsaker moved to approve the minutes of January 17, 2006. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Allen, Rep. Ferry, Rep. Wheeler, and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote
H.B. 41 Preservation of and Access to State Publications (Rep. M. Noel)
Rep. Noel introduced the bill with the assistance of Craig Neilson, State Library Manager.
MOTION: Rep. Daw moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Allen, Rep. Ferry, and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Janice Fisher moved to place the bill on the consent calendar. The motion
passed unanimously with Rep. Allen, Rep. Ferry and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.
S.B. 20 Repeal of Utah Digital Signature Act (Sen. L. Hillyard) (Rep. D. Aagard)
Sen. Hillyard presented the bill with the assistance of Rep. Janice Fisher and Kathy Berg, Dept. of Commerce. Richard North, Policy Analyst, provided history on the bill.
MOTION: Rep. Daw moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Tilton absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep Ferry moved to adjourn. Rep. Hunsaker adjourned the meeting at 9:05 a.m.
