Representative Allen called the meeting to order at 8:55 a.m.

The minutes of January 31, 2006 were not considered.

S.B. 132    Surplus Property Amendments (Sen. P. Knudson)

Sen. Knudson introduced the bill. For clarification, Sen Knudson referred to Richard North, Legislative Policy Analyst.

MOTION:    Rep. Wiley moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Ferry absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Daw moved to place SB 132 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Ferry absent for the vote.

S.B. 34     Gross Receipts Tax Amendments, Repeal and Public Utility Tariffs (Sen. M. Dmitrich)
Sen. Dmitrich explained the bill.

Rep. Goodfellow introduced the bill.

MOTION:    Rep. Hunsaker moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Daw absent for the vote.
