Rep. Murray called the meeting to order at 9:07 a.m.

H.B. 235    Public Safety Vehicles - Marking Lights (Rep. J. Murray)

Rep. Murray explained the bill assisted by Frank W. Budd, Executive Director, Utah Chiefs of Police Association.

Spoke for the bill:    Dan Fallows, Department of Public Safety

MOTION:    Rep. Dunnigan moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dougall absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Dunnigan moved to place HB 235 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dougall absent for the vote.

H.B. 73    K. Gunn Mckay Highway Designation (Rep. N. Hansen)

Rep. Hansen explained the bill.

Spoke for the bill:    Taz Biesinger, citizen




MOTION:    Rep. Wallace moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Reps. Dougall and Adams absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Daw moved to place HB 73 on the Consent Calendar. After committee discussion, the motion was withdrawn.

MOTION:    Rep. King moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dougall absent for the vote.
