H.B. 342    Traffic Code Revisions (Rep. J. Dunnigan)

Rep. Dunnigan explained the bill assisted by Scott Duncan, Colonel, Utah Highway Patrol.

Spoke to the bill:    John Fay, Utah Trial Lawyers Association

MOTION:    Rep. Dougall moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion was approved unanimously with Rep. King and Rep. Wallace absent for the vote.

H.B. 363    Driver License - Learner Permit Provisions (Rep. J. Dougall)

Rep. Dougall explained the bill assisted by Roylayne Fairclough, AAA Utah.

Spoke to the bill:    John Robison, Drivers Education District Administrator, Davis School District

MOTION:    Rep. Daw moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Cosgrove, Rep. Dee, Rep. Dunnigan, and Rep. King voting against the bill.

S.B. 17    Highway Transfer Process Amendments (Sen. C. Walker) (Rep. J. Ferrin)

Sen. Walker explained the bill.

MOTION:    Rep. Dee moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dougall, Rep. King, Rep Wallace and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.

H.B. 280    Golf Carts Allowed on Certain Streets (Rep. C. Moss)

Rep. Moss explained the bill assisted by Pete Grimm, citizen.

MOTION:    Rep. Morgan moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Dunnigan, Rep. Fisher, and Rep. Murray voting against the bill. Rep. Dougall, Rep. Wallace and Rep. Wiley were absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. King moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dougall, Rep. Wallace and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.
