Chair Jenkins called the meeting to order at 2:17 p.m. and announced that S.B. 176 and H.B. 233 would not be heard today.
Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Hellewell moved to approve the minutes of the February 1, 2006 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hatch absent for the vote.
1. S.B. 92 Licensure of Crane Operators (G. Davis)
MOTION: Sen. Davis introduced the bill and moved to adopt 1st Sub. S.B. 92 .
The motion passed with Sens. Jenkins, Mayne, and Davis voting yes, Sens. Waddoups and Hellewell voting no, and Sens. Hatch and Hickman absent for the vote.
Ken Shulsen, Associated Builders and Contractors and Taz Besinger, CEO, Utah Home Builders Association, spoke in opposition to the bill.
Sen. Waddoups assumed the Chair.
MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to pass out 1st Sub. S.B. 92 favorably.
The motion passed unanimously with Chair Jenkins and Sen. Hickman absent for the vote.
Sen. Hellewell assumed the Chair.
2. S.B. 168 Community Association Act Amendments (M. Waddoups)
Sen. Waddoups introduced the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Hatch moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously with Chair Jenkins and Sen. Hickman absent for the vote.
Chair Jenkins resumed the Chair.
3. H.B. 32 Life Insurance and Annuity Law Amendments (J. Dunnigan)
Rep. Dunnigan introduced the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Hellewell and Waddoups absent for the vote.
4. H.B. 34 Insurance Reports, Tables, and Examination Amendments (J. Dunnigan)
Rep. Dunnigan introduced the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to pass the bill out favorably.

MOTION: Sen. Mayne introduced the bill and moved to adopt 1st Sub. S.B. 76.
