Sen Bell called the meeting to order at 2:20 p.m.
1. S.B. 0053 Adult Protective Services Amendments (A. Christensen)
Sen. Christensen explained that the bill would require the Division of Aging and Adult Services to make rules to avoid duplication of investigations and services.
Alan Ormsby spoke in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
2. S.B. 0095 Psychologist Licensing Act Amendments (E. Mayne)
Sen. Mayne explained that the bill would give licensure by endorsement to persons who have been licensed in other jurisdictions.
Dr. Nanci Klein spoke in favor of the bill, and stated that it will allow additional mobility for psychologists. Laure Poe, Bureau Manager of the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, also spoke in favor of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Goodfellow moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Bell moved to adjourn.
