Committee Chair Christensen called the meeting to order at 8:22 a.m.
MOTION: Sen. Goodfellow moved to approve the minutes of the February 20, 2006 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Bell absent for the vote.
1. H.B. 0114 Minimum Enforcement of Food Sanitation Rules (S. Clark)
The bill was not considered.
2. H.B. 0129 Public Health Amendments (B. Last)
Rep. Last explained the bill with the assistance of Doug Springmeyer of the Attorney General's Office. Mr. Springmeyer expressed strong support for the bill.
MOTION: Sen. McCoy moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
3. H.B. 0156S01 Health Insurance Accessibility (J. Dunnigan)
Rep. Dunnigan proposed an amendment.
MOTION: Sen. Goodfellow moved to adopt the following amendment proposed by Rep. Dunnigan:
