Committee Vice Chair Bell called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m.
MOTION: Sen. Arent moved to approve the minutes of February 6, 2006. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Dmitrich absent for the vote.
1. S.B. 167 Juvenile Offenses - Diversion Amendment (P. Arent)
Sen. Arent presented the bill.
Jacey Skinner, Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office, assisted in the presentation.
MOTION: Sen. Thomas moved to pass S.B. 167 out of the committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
2. S.B. 184 Criminal Identity Fraud Amendments (C. Walker)
Sen. Walker presented the bill.
Richard Hamp, Attorney General's Office, assisted in the presentation.
MOTION: Sen. Arent moved to pass S. B. 184 out of the committee with a favorable recommendation.
