Committee Chair Waddoups called the meeting to order at 9:34 a.m.


1. S.B. 45 Oil and Gas Conservation Account Amendments (Sen. M. Dmitrich)

    Sen. Mike Dmitrich introduced the bill. John Baza, Director, Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining,     assisted in the presentation.

    Lee Peacock, President, Utah Petroleum Association, spoke in support of the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Fife moved to pass S.B. 45, Oil and Gas Conservation Account Amendments,      out favorably.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hatch absent at the time of voting.

2. S.B. 111 Water Conservancy District Amendments (Sen. T. Hatch)

    With the assistance of Warren Peterson, General Counsel, Central Iron County Water Conservancy District, and Fred Finlinson, Central Iron County Water Conservancy District, Sen. Hatch introduced the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Hatch moved to pass S.B. 111, Water Conservancy District Amendments, out favorably.




    The motion passed unanimously.
    
     MOTION: Sen. McCoy moved to adjourn.

    The motion passed unanimously.

    Chair Waddoups adjourned the meeting at 9:52 a.m.
