Rep. Bowman called the meeting to order at 8:20 a.m.

Rep. Wimmer moved to correct the minutes of January 23, 2007. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dee, Rep. Lockhart, Rep. Ray and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.

H.B. 107    Funding for Prosecution and Prevention of Child Pornography Offenses
(Rep. R. Bigelow)

Rep. Bigelow introduced the bill with the assistance of Mr. Ken Wallentine, Chief of Law Enforcement, Office of the Attorney General.

Mr. Rhett McQuiston was recognized for his accomplishments in the enforcement of child pornography laws.

MOTION:    Rep. Seelig moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Dee, Rep. Litvack, Rep. Sumsion and Rep. Wimmer voting in opposition.

H.B. 91    Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice Funding (Rep. B. Dee)

MOTION:    Rep. Dee moved to delete in title and body H.B. 91 and replace it with 1st Substitute H.B. 91. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Lockhart absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Dee moved to amend the bill as follows:


1.    Page 2, Lines 48 through 49 :    

             48          (1) The commission on criminal and juvenile justice shall be composed of

             49      members as follows:
The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Lockhart absent for the vote.
