Rep. Bowman called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.
MOTION: Rep. Ray moved to approve the minutes of February 2, 2007. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dee and Rep. Sumsion absent for the vote.
H.B. 143 Controlled Substances Amendments - Suda Controls (Rep. N. Hansen)
This bill was not heard.
H.B. 177 Correctional Facility Bidding Process - Privatization of Correctional Facilities (Rep. G. Hughes)
MOTION: Rep. Ray moved to delete in title and body H.B. 177 and replace it with 1st Substitute H.B. 177. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dee absent for the vote.
Rep. Hughes explained the bill.
MOTION: Rep. Morley moved to amend the bill as follows:

H.B. 355 Innkeeper's Rights Act Modifications (Rep. M. Walker)
Rep. Walker introduced the bill with the assistance of Mr. Clark Aposhian, Chair, Utah Shooting Sports Council.
MOTION: Rep. Wimmer moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Litvack, Rep. Lockhart, and Rep. Morley absent for the vote.

MOTION: Rep. Ray moved to amend the bill as follows:
