Rep. Bowman called the meeting to order at 8:15 a.m.
Minutes of February 12, 2007, were not considered.
H.B. 162 Illegal Drug Sites Contamination Amendments (Rep. D. Litvack)
Rep. Litvack introduced the bill.
MOTION: Rep. Litvack moved to amend the bill as follows:
1. Page 1, Lines 15 through 17 :
15 . provides that if a report of contamination is made to a local health department by
16 any party other than a law enforcement agency, the party must provide confirmation
17 of the contamination by a certified decontamination specialist
2. Page 2, Lines 53 through 56 :
53 (3) When the local health department receives a complaint or report of
contamination

from a source other than a law enforcement agency, the local health department shall
require
55
that the complaint or report be confirmed by a written chemical analysis of the site
conducted
56
by a certified decontamination specialist.
The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dee and Rep. Morley absent for the vote.

MOTION: Rep. Wiley moved to pass the bill out favorably as amended. The motion passed
unanimously.
MOTION: Rep. Oda moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. Rep. Bowman
adjourned the meeting at 8:38 a.m.
