Rep. Hunsaker called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Gibson moved to approve the minutes of January 26, 2007 and January 30, 2007. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Allen, Rep. Becker, Rep. Shurtliff, and Rep. Urquhart absent for the vote.

S.C.R. 1    Resolution Urging Congress to Address Social Security Number Identity Theft (Sen. C. Walker)

Sen. Walker introduced and explained the bill to the Committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Dunnigan moved that the Committee recommend S.C.R. 1 favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Allen, Rep. Becker, Rep. Shurtliff, and Rep. Urquhart absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Dunnigan moved that S.C.R. 1 be placed on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Allen, Rep. Becker, Rep. Shurtliff, and Rep. Urquhart absent for the vote.



H.B. 203    Local Option Distribution Formula for the Distribution of the Local Option Sales and Use Tax (Rep. S. Wyatt)

Rep. Wyatt introduced and explained the bill to the Committee.

H.B. 296    Approval of Subdivisions (Rep. G. Froerer)

MOTION:    Rep. Froerer moved to adopt 1st Substitute H.B. 296. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Becker, Rep. Buxton, Rep. Shurtliff, and Rep. Urquhart absent for the vote.

Rep. Froerer introduced and explained the substitute bill to the Committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Wyatt moved to recommend 1st Substitute H.B. 296 favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Becker, Rep. Buxton, and Rep. Urquhart absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Allen moved to adjourn the meeting. The vote was unanimous. Rep. Hunsaker adjourned the meeting at 9:37 a.m.
