Rep. Hunsaker called the meeting to order at 2:07 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Shurtliff moved to approve the minutes of February 5, 2007. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Allen, Rep. Becker, Rep. Buxton, Rep. Dunnigan, Rep. Urquhart, and Rep. Wyatt absent for the vote. In accordance with House Rule 24.11, a quorum was present for the vote.

H.B. 335    Local Government - Charitable Contributions (Rep. B. Dee)

Rep. Dee introduced and explained the bill to the Committee.

Spoke to the bill: Karen Silver, Advocate for Salt Lake Community Action Program

MOTION:    Rep. Seelig moved that the Committee recommend H.B. 335 favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Allen, Rep. Becker, Rep. Buxton, Rep. Dunnigan, Rep. Urquhart, and Rep. Wyatt absent for the vote. In accordance with House Rule 24.11, a quorum was present for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Gibson moved that the Committee place H.B. 335 on the Consent Calendar.

The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Allen, Rep. Becker, Rep. Dunnigan, Rep. Urquhart, and Rep. Wyatt absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Buxton moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion was unanimous. Rep. Hunsaker adjourned the meeting at 2:19 p.m.
