Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.
1. Approval of Minutes
Chair Madsen reported that corrections on the date and chairman name on the minutes of January 17, 2007 had been made and the corrected minutes needed approval.
MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to approve the corrected minutes of January 17, 2007 and the minutes of January 25, 2007.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Eastman absent at the time of the vote.
2. H.B. 19 Navajo Revitalization Fund
Rep. Brad King presented the bill. John Harja, Chairman, Navajo Revitalization Fund, and John Reidhead, Director of Finance, Utah Navajo Trust Fund, answered committee questions and spoke in support.
MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to pass H.B. 19, Navajo Revitalization Fund, out with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Stowell moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
Chair Madsen adjourned the meeting at 9:35 a.m.
