8 General Description:
9 This bill modifies the Election Code by amending pollbook provisions.
10 Highlighted Provisions:
11 This bill:
12 . repeals the requirement that the local clerk or recorder transmit the pollbook (the
13 record of names of voters) to the county clerk after the canvass of a November
14 municipal election, local district election, bond election, or special election.

23 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
24 Section 1. Section 20A-4-305 is amended to read:
25 20A-4-305. Delivery of checked official register to county clerk after canvass.
26 Within ten days after the canvass of a November municipal election, local district
27 election, bond election, or special election, the clerk or recorder shall transmit the checked
28 official register [and pollbook] to the county clerk.
