Rep. Barrus called the meeting to order at 8:32 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Donnelson moved to approve the minutes of the February 6, 2008 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Painter and Rep. Sandstrom absent for the vote.

1st Sub. S.B. 110    Foreign Business Entities and Tribal Law (Sen. K. VanTassell) (Rep. D. Bowman)

Sen. VanTassell explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Gowans moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.


H.C.R. 5    Concurrent Resolution Urging Congressional Approval of R.s. 2477 Rights- of-way Recognition Act (Rep. M. Brown)

Rep. Brown explained the bill to the committee.

H.B. 362    Motor Fuel Tax - Off-highway Vehicle Refund Amendments (Rep. B. Ferry)

MOTION:    Rep. Riesen moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

Rep. Barrus distributed a letter written to the Project Manager of the Pinedale Anticline Project Area (PAPA) regarding Alternative "D" of the revised Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (RDSEIS). Rep. Barrus encouraged committee members to voice support of Alternative "D" and send a signed copy of their recommendation to the Project Manager.

MOTION:    Rep. Painter moved to adopt the letter and mail it to the PAPA RDSEIS Project Manager, under the names of the Chairs. The motion passed unanimously.


Note:    A signed copy of the letter is attached to these minutes. The letter was sent February 11, 2008

MOTION:    Rep. Hendrickson moved to adjourn.
