Rep. Noel called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m.

H.B. 98    Utah Employment Verification Act (Rep. G. Donnelson)

Rep. Donnelson introduced the bill with the assistance of Richard Hamp,
Assistant Attorney General.

Spoke in favor of the bill:    Roger Tsai, attorney, E-Verify Program (handout)

MOTION:    Rep. Tilton moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Chavez-Houck voting in opposition. Rep. McIff absent for the vote,

H.B. 252    Charitable Solicitations Act Amendments (Rep. W. Harper)

Rep. Harper introduced the bill.

MOTION:    Rep. Mascaro moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hemingway absent for the vote.

MOTION:    With the approval of the sponsor, Rep. Mascaro moved to place H.B. 252 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hemingway absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Brown moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hemingway absent for the vote. Rep. Noel adjourned the meeting at 3:20 p.m.
