Chair Kiser called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Fisher moved to approve the minutes of the January 25, 2008 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Clark, Rep. Herrod, Rep. Holdaway, Rep. King and Rep. Walker absent for the vote.
H.B. 299 Motor Vehicle Code Revisions (Rep. W. Harper)
Rep. Harper introduced the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Rep Fisher moved to amend the bill as follows:
1. Page 1, Line 16 :
16 attached to the front of the vehicle;

. provides that 75 cents of the license plate fee shall be deposited in the Department of Public Safety Restricted Account; and
2. Page 4, Lines 111 through 114 :
