Committee Chair Buttars called the meeting to order at 8:20 a.m.
MOTION: Sen. Goodfellow moved to approve the minutes of the January 29, 2008 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. H.B. 82 Notice of Changes to the State Medicaid Plan (M. Newbold)
Rep. Newbold explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Goodfellow moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Knudson absent for the vote.
2. H.B. 73 Child Care Providers (K. Morgan)
Rep. Morgan explained the bill.
Robyn Lipkoutz, Voices for Utah Children, spoke in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. McCoy moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
3. S.B. 174 Dentist and Dental Hygienist Practice Act Amendments (P. Knudson)
The bill was not considered.
Committee Chair Buttars adjourned the meeting at 8:30 a.m.
