MOTION: Rep. Hendrickson moved to approve the minutes of the February 3, 2009 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Bigelow, Rep. Bird, Rep. Ferry, Rep. Mathis, and Rep. Wiley absent for the vote.
H.B. 362 Government Records Amendments (Rep. G. Hughes)
Rep. Hughes explained the bill to the committee.
Spoke in favor of the bill: Lincoln Shurtz, Utah League of Cities and Towns
MOTION: Rep. Wiley moved to pass H.B. 362 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed with Rep. Hansen and Rep. Hendrickson voting in opposition to the motion. Rep. Aagard and Rep. Ferry were absent for the vote.
S.B. 161 Repeal of Maximum Charge to Publish Legal Notice (Sen. K. Van Tassell)
