Madam Chair Fowlke called the meeting to order at 9:17 a.m., and called for a motion to approve the minutes of February 18, and February 20, 2009.

MOTION:    Representative Gibson moved to approve the minutes of February 18 and February 20, 2009. The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Biskupski, King, Powell, and Wheatley absent for the vote.

HB0355    Indigent Inmate Trust Fund Amendments (Rep. K. McIff)

The sponsor introduced the bill and explained its intent. John Reidhead, Director, Department of Finance, addressed questions from the committee.

MOTION:    Representative Ipson moved to pass HB 355 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Johnson, Powell, and Wheatley absent for the vote.

Madam Chair Fowlke called for a motion to adjourn.

MOTION:    Representative Gibson moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Johnson, Powell, and Wheatley absent for the vote.

Madam Chair Fowlke adjourned the meeting at 9:33 am.
