Rep. Barrus called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.
MOTION: Rep. Draxler moved to approve the minutes of the February 3, 2009 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown, Rep. Gibson, Rep. Gowans, Rep. Watkins and Rep. Wilcox absent for the vote.
H.J.R. 12 Joint Resolution Supporting Hydrogen Power from Advanced Coal and Carbon Capture and Sequestration Technology (Rep. P. Painter) (handout)
Rep. Painter, accompanied by Alan Walker, Director USTAR Technology Eastern, Jenifer Hedrick, Southern California Edison Program Manager and Dr. Brian McPherson EGI, University of Utah, explained the bill to the committee. A power point presentation was shown.
