Rep. Mathis called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.
MOTION: Rep. Riesen moved to approve the minutes of the February 5, 2009 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown, Rep. Dee, Rep Gibson, Rep. Gowans, Rep. Wilcox and Rep. Winn absent for the vote.
S.J.R. 2 Topaz Museum and Civil Liberties Learning Center Joint Resolution (Sen. D. Stowell) (Rep. B. Winn)
Sen. Stowell, assisted by Rick Okabe, Secretary Topaz Museum, and Steve Koga, Topaz Museum Board member, explained the resolution to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Winn moved to pass the resolution out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown, Rep. Dee, and Rep. Wilcox absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Gowans moved to place the resolution on the consent calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown, Rep. Dee and Rep. Wilcox absent for the vote.
